To apply for an International Driving Permit through Experthai, the following documents are required:

Original Passport:

• Your passport must be valid and show your residency status in Thailand.

Valid Visa:

• You must have at least 15 days of visa validity remaining if you're on a tourist visa. For expats on long-term visas (such as work, retirement, or student visas), your visa status should be up to date.

Resident Certificate:

• A Resident Certificate confirming your address in Thailand, issued within the last 30 days by immigration or a police station.

Thai Driving License:

• You must hold a permanent 5-year Thai driving license. Temporary (2-year) licenses are not eligible for this service.

Power of Attorney (POA):

• We will issue a Power of Attorney document for you to sign, authorizing us to manage the application process on your behalf.

Passport-Sized Photograph:

• A 1.5-inch passport-sized photo is required for the IDP application.
