To apply for a Thai driving license, you’ll need the following documents:

Passport

• Valid passport with a minimum visa validity of 15 days for tourists. Other visa types (work, retirement, etc.) are also accepted.

Resident Certificate

• Issued by your local Immigration Office or obtained through the police. Must be valid for at least 30 days. This document confirms your Thai address and is required for both expats and tourists.

Medical Certificate

• A health check certificate from any registered clinic or hospital. It must be issued within 30 days before the application.
